Huge thanks to everyone who came to Waltz on the Wye 2011 and all our artistes and urchins!
WOTW 2011 was a super event
Friday night consisted of a super Magic Lantern show in the Drill Hall. We also had the Strumpets with Crumpets providing wonderful fodder on the Riverside Gardens, where on Friday night hosted the fabulous musicians Ellethia and Pocketwatch. We also had a welcome barbecue provided by the Bridge Inn
Saturday daytime was a plethora of events from Wyatt Nerf's Shootin' Shack, Costume competition, Treasure Hunt, Mechanised Market, talks and workshops,circus acts on the Riverside Gardens and Contraption Exhibition in Chepstow Castle
There was also the opportunity to go on the Rivets on the River boat trip.
Saturday evening we hosted our Waltz on the Wye 2011 Cabaret and Ball . Our compere Lily Belle entertained us through and evening of cabaret from Matt Pang, The Great Dandini, burlesque and fantastic music from Jarmean? and Rogora Khart
Sunday was a more relaxed affair, the Mechanised Market was open for business, brilliant Morris Dancing from The Widders, more talks/workshops and an Expedition to England to hear to opera by local Opera singer Karl Daymond
